French toast with a twist

What you need:

  • Bread of your choice
  • Two eggs (per 3 pieces of bread)
  • Vanilla
  • Oil or butter for the pan
  • Pumpkin puree (you can substitute banana or squash if you like)
  • Cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice

What you do:

  • Beat your eggs
  • Add pumpkin puree about 2 heaping tablespoons full to you eggs.
  • Add a few drops of vanilla and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon.
  • Mix until smooth.
  • Dip your bread into the batter and put into your skillet.
  • Serve with honey or maple syrup.
